That does sound interesting, but I'm just looking for an easy to configure menu that launches DCL commands.
I know I could write a script, but if something nicer is already out there, I'd prefer to use that...

A few weeks ago I found this bbs software written in DEC Fortran for VMS... I'm not sure if that's what you'd have in mind, but it seemed interesting.....

The names of the chemical elements are interesting. The discovery process as
well as the naming convention (if any) as well as the prerogative to name an
element make interesting reading.
In terms of names there are few clues. In English the halogens are
recognized by the -ine suffix, but this is not the case in Dutch:

Br Bromine Broom (Bromium no longer used)
I Iodine Jodium (or Jood)
