Contact Sampsa. If he can not handle it then you may
connect to SG1:: - just send me your IP address.
I am connecting to GORVAX:: from 193.2.191.211. Is
DECnet hello timer (in seconds) 300 OK in HECnet?
I plan to connect to SG1:: from 193.2.191.212.
Hmm. I wonder... I think that the hello timers can be anything. It just affects how often you send hello messages, and indirectly then affects how long it takes for you to notice if your link goes down. But I should check this up... But that is what I think I remember. So, what you set your hello timer to does not affect, nor require anyone else to care. It's your choice, causing effects for you.

I was, but I've moved into shared area 6 now :)
Excellent. But that also reminds me... I should update the nodename database. Care to give me that update? (I assume all nodes in area 3 are to be deleted, but what nodes, and which addresses in area 6?)

I have got now 3 area routers in area 3 ready on fixed IP addresses
and capable of Multinet tunneling. They are:
NUK1c 3.171 193.2.191.211
RVDSXL 3.47 193.2.191.212
MUSIPC 3.222 84.255.246.85
Is MIM node database accessible via TCP/IP too?

The primary hubs for Multinet Tunnels are:
GORVAX:: (UK)
SG1:: (US)
GORVAX:: is closer to you then SG1::. I would start there. Contact Sampsa. If he can not handle it then you may connect to SG1:: - just send me your IP address.
Both of these networks also make use of the bridge to minimize hops.

Isn't someone using area 3 on HECnet already?
I think that was Chrissie, who offered to move away. ...
Which she did and I am thankful for that.
How do you mean by "via TCP/IP"? I can easily create a text file
with the node names and numbers, if you want to.
And email it to my address? Yes, please.
Now, which addresses do I make tunnel to?
