I've replaced the server that ran my bridge and GORVAX, unfortunately there's something REALLY broken with GORVAX that I just can't figure out right now (and don't really have the time to, either).
Anyway, RHESUS and CHIMPY are up, CHIMP should be up RSN. GORVAX will be down for a little while longer, as will the Fidonet mail gateway.

Well, it was an iMac and the only other things stolen were a few laptops that were fairly recent so I'm sure they're fenceable for some decent money pretty quickly.
I think these guys were pros, they left no mess or anything so all in all I'm pleased with the service.

I've run OpenVMS on several different types of HP Integrity servers, but not on Dell HW. It could work theoretically, but there might be many reason why not. First and maybe most important reason is that there need to be drivers for the HW components of the server. E.g. SCSI adapters, LAN adapters, graphics adapters, etc. I'm quite sure that OpenVMS Engineering hasn't tested OpenVMS on any other servers than HP Integrity servers. Therefore there might not be suitable drivers for other brands. Then there might be slight differences in the EFI firmware as well.
It would be very interesting to find out if it possible to run OpenVMS on other than HP platforms, though.
I do also have the OpenVMS I64 media. I could make a copy of it if you want. Please contact me privately if you want one.

I don't at the moment, I don't know of course if anyone else does. My
guess is that the kit(s) are still considered to be regular items, as
opposed to hobbyist only as HP believes the Alpha and VAX ones are.
Also do you mind supplying us with a photo or two of the thing some place?
I had the same problem, the HP version was available here at an
absurdly low price at a shop I frequent via their website. What
stopped me wasn't the money, it was that reason.
