Yup, that's it. Gone are my dreams of setting up a high tech exporting
firm between the Netherlands and Hawaii (and possibly even visiting the
island).
And all that because I couldn't support a lineprinter (very likely a real
LP11) on a VAXstation 4000 model 60. :-\
Hans
PS
ISTR a serial parallel interface but that might have connected a serial
printer to a parallel port, hmmm....

If they would have a vaxcluster license I might even sell them two units :-)
Or would two VAX 4000-105A's with a DSSI bus be a better solution....

If they have unibus peripherals you might need a qbus vax with a
bridge to unibus.

Hmm I wonder if such a thing exists. Unibus-to-qbus
exists at least.

For a second there I thought when you said "caught up" equaled "hobbyist."
I have never been so disappointed! ;) ;)
However, interesting that they are implementing file versioning after all this time ...

Just a little bit of trolling...

Tada!

Now I'll go back to RSX11 and VMS to look for more "cutting edge" features IBM could add to zOS...
