(I'll top-post this one...) SET HOST from a VMS system implies you use CTERM. CTERM is a horrible protocol, and only really works fine between VMS systems. Using it to connect to anything else usually means you can expect all kind of behavior and performance problems. It might be something else, but I would suspect CTERM as such first and foremost. Not that I know, Sampsa. All I know is this srm command : set console graphics And its counterpart: set console serial if you have no MMJ plug, isn't it possible to use a telephone jack instead? I can make an MMJ to MMJ cable for you if you need one. All you need then is an MMJ to female DB9 jack.
