There used to be a "mainframe in a card" thing... I think the name was something like P/390. IIRC it was a MCA card with a 390 processor which could be attached to a PS/2 personal computer.

A z890, for example, only pulls about 1.5kW. Not bad for a 64-bit
mainframe with big hairy balls.

Given time Amazon will be (trying to) sell everything. Now start
looking for managed and not managed networking gear and you'll see
the amazing roadblocks I need to surmount from time to time.
Someone in there is selling a pair of HP gadgets that I might buy RSN.
Or will if when I'm ready he's still got them.
