Glad to hear. I bought a mint VT340 last week after watching it for months
on ebay. Maybe I overpaid for it? ($200), but Im in Australia and they
just dont seem to turn up that often.
I don't think you overpaid at all...I'd be quite happy with that price.

I can help with INN stuff. INN and I have...an understanding.

I'll handle the mail gateway, somebody else can deal with the news :)
I can provide news feeds. I have an instance of INN here, with a full feed
except for the binaries groups.

I' m thinking of repairing the damaged unit but need schematics for that.
In fact, you don't. Open it up, replace the electrolytes. Near them you
may find a blown small element which is not needed really.
The 'X' capacitor? Actually I'd not want to run a big power supply without
that. They're usually not difficult to find, or to replace.

Never seen any of that either. There was a block mode version of the VT100 as
well, if I remember right. Maybe compatible? Although I have not seen the
documentation for that one either.
VT131. Manuals are online.

Will you be able to accept incoming connections to your system BTW?
Yeah. Obviously not until it's running, though. May even UPS back it. I can spare ~60W.

If it's UUHECnet's news feed, I can handle that once I get my VS4000/60 working again.

I have an VT420 courtesy of Saku Setala but unfortunately the screen barely works so I've decided to try something else on my client box (OS X):
That reminds me: I need to adjust the height and width on my VT320...I didn't find any controls for it on the boards, so I think I need to swap out resistors that've gone out of tolerance?
