That looks good. My mail reader when asked to show "raw source" shows me Mime headers including the Content-type:text/plain header, but this time it's sent straight, there isn't a transfer-encoding listed.

My point is that a lot of the HECNet hosts don't speak 8-bit
characters. All the 36bit machines does 5*7bit=35bit to store ASCII.
So it would be nice if I could follow the HECnet mailinglist on my

No. From a reliability point of view, I've not heard that either should
be better or worse. However, the DEQNA is rather buggy in its general
performance.
Side-by-side, the DELQA is quite a bit faster than the DEQNA, the
DELQA-YA ("Turbo DELQA") even more so.
That said, the DELQA has a "DEQNA compatibility mode"...whether that
makes it as slow and/or buggy as the DEQNA, I don't know.

Again, if I'd never used an iPhone before that, then yeah, I would've probably been OK with the BB.
As for me, I use an iPhone (have since 2007) so am biased but very happy with it - in fact I've got an iPad as well and the new iMessage (basically BBM built into the text messaging app) is great - I get the same messages on my Mac, iPad and iPhone, all for free.

That's a bit of a loaded question, actually. :)
It's all going to come down to personal preference so I'd say go get your hands on both to play with.
I've always found the iPhone to have a bit more of a polished UI but I haven't had any real hands on with android in years so that could no longer be true.
