Hans,
Don't worry about it actually, Steve D is copying them onto the cluster as we speak.
Sorry to bother you.

I've managed to lose my VAX install kits for the various compilers (I have
the full AXP SPD on RHESUS, but nothing for VAX).
Anyone got pointers as to where to get these ? My credentials for
ftp.usa.hp.com seem to have expired.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the size of a block? ;)
512 bytes. So 16777216. blocks equals about 8 Gig. Which is the maximum size of a file system in RSX (well, support for 32-bit block numbers do exist, but is not enabled normally, so 24 bit block numbers is the normal limit).
Don't make me whip out my ePeen!
DRAKE (the 4000/90) has a pair of 146GB disks hanging off of it.
I've also got 4x300G disks I'm thinking about putting on it as well. :)
I should really see if that thing still boots. I should also replace the battery and find a proper disk enclosure for the disks in it (the SCA-50 adapters make them not fit right)

And 512 bytes is the standard size of a disk block even on a new disk today (although 2K and 4K blocks have started to show up, but even those disks still support 512 byte blocks).
