I'll take the VAXstation and Alpha PWS if you can spare them and the CD drives - as for pick up, well I'm between jobs so it's no biggie, could come up next week if that works for you.

Sounds like the kind of day I had yesterday. The deserver 90TL through
which my entire vax/alpha/ia64 collection have their consoles routed
has
had an intermittent problem which I attributed to a dodgy power cable.
Yesterday I bit the bullet and replaced the cable only to have an epic
fail myself. Not even a power light. At least when I break decservers
they have the courtesy of giving me a power light. Anyway, my spare
decserver exhibits random and totally undesirable behaviour, so my
collection is effectively offline for the most part until I find a
replacement.
Anyone got a 90TL or 90M going spare?
I've got two 90L+ s and a 90M. I *think* they're spare. To be honest I'm
clearing out a lot of old computers (mostly but not all DEC) so if
anyone
wants them too I'll list them here ;-)

Hello!
Then I'll accept any seconds.
What's left is:
HP 9000/C110 (4GB & 2GB disks internal) Linux/HPUX
DEC 3000/300 (2x 1GB disks, one internal, 1 external) DEC Unix/VMS
VAXstation 3100/95 (1gb disk external) VMS
Alpha pws433au (2 4GB disks) Linux/VMS
1 single speed caddy-loading CD reader - unknown marque
1 rrd42 single speed caddy-loading CD reader.
4 CD caddys
Lots of SCSI cables (including, I think, one of those funny-sized ones that only DEC ever used) and a video cable for the 3000/300
There's also a VAXstation 4000VLC, but I'm keeping that for sentimental reasons :-)
If you can drive to Leeds (UK!) and collect any of this then you're welcome - I will *not* post it. I've already had one offer but it's first come-first served.
*now* you can start pushing !

On a related note - if anyone is getting rid of any CP/M machines, I'd be happy to give them a home.

Dear All,
reading some Notes on Eisner (eisner.decus.org) I discovered that within VMS
V5.0 distribution savesets there is a fully commented version of VMSINSTAL
because of some oversight made while preparing the release. :-)
Actually I do not have those savesets but I am looking for them very hungrily!
So, do there is someone here that has such savesets and can send me a copy of
that precious VMSINSTAL? 8-) It should be in VMS050.B.
Thank you very much,
G.
I'll take one if you've got spares..
