Related to using NOTES, before doing the discussion on NOTES,
for using the keypad, how do the present HECnet users use the
DEC keypad on non-DEC equipment?
Erik
Sampsa,
Oh is that UGLY! I will clean it up with logicals. After that I will
send you the path so you can try it before publishing it.

Steve, can you please put everything on RHESUS::[.MEDIALIB.NOTES] maybe?
Thanks,

I tried two kits, and I have actually got it installed in another machine. I think the problem is the machine where it failed has both UCX and MULTINET installed (although UCX is not started). I'm cleaning it up and I'll try it again.
OTOH, how does one "join" a remote NOTES conference? Or is it necessary to actually log on the hosting system?

There was a SMTP Gateway for MR, but unfortunately it is only for DigitalUnix/Tru64unix.
Btw. I'm setting up an ALL-IN-1 server soon. I have to finish the reorganizing of our house first.
It has been a long time since administering A1 - about 15 years. I've forgotten so much...

Hello,
Anyone has experience setting up that? I _did_ it partially something like 30 years ago, using Message Router (but no internet mail, just A1 and VMSMAIL). I'm trying to do it again (with not a lot of success... I can't even make it BEGIN to work). Anyone has tried (and succeeded) at this?

Does anyone have a copy of DNS$DEFAULT_FILE.DAT that I can look at? I
want to setup DFS but it requires this file. Unfortunately, the DFS
setup does not provision this file. In fact, it expects you to copy it
from another host. Only problem is none of my hosts have this file. I
will be changing whatever I get to list the namespace as "hecnet".
Thanks!
