And every router is regularly broadcasting packets. Add more routers, and you'll get more packets. I just sent my first email over HF -- using dilapidated old dos software... it took about 3 minutes to send a quick "hello world"-esque message... I'm pretty sure, in the US at least, everything would need to be in plaintext and [somehow] using station IDs throughout... very interesting mode for comms tho... I've been away for 1000 HECnet messages or so (which seems to be a week's time these days), as well... trying to catch up... So Sampsa... you are going to crawl the "net" for info.txt, and pull it into your host info parsing script? Or do we need to submit something to you? Apologies, I didn't have time to read the backlog... if you are seeking "permission" to include a host, feel free to include wopr:: or any of the hosts from 20... Not something that exists in the HELP system of a specific machine, that you need to know about, and log in to. (Although, I could make it available both as HELP and a web page from MIM, and you don't even have to log in to access the HELP on an RSX system... :-) ) Johnny
