OK, so I rolled my own. A very quick and dirty DCL hack, but it seems to work (thanks Steve).
Anyone want their system to be listed on this (log on to CHIMPY as user LAUNCH to see what I'm talking about , I took the liberty of adding WOPR and MIM for testing purposes, let me know if you want them delisted)...

I know I could write a script, but if something nicer is already out there, I'd prefer to use that...

Guys,
I'm planning on making a sort of "portal" for connecting to external systems from CHIMPY, i.e. create a captive user with a login script that shows a list of destinations (either SET HOST or TELNET). Any recommendations for which of the many menu programs from the Freeware disks to use?

I'd just use a DCL script. I did something like this years ago, and my wife used it to access her email.

There are the Finnish names for the elemants:

Some are short but most are too long.

The noble gasses work well in dutch, just like the halogens.
Group 6 is interesting. I use OXYGEN and Seleen. But obviously Tellur is ok
too (is Tellurium in dutch).
Bi is Bismuth in dutch. Vismut works for DECnet.
Current nodes have names and these remain the same even when the area
changes. See my website for a list of names: home.zonnet.nl/hvlems
The collection is ever expanding so I'm always in need of new nodenames.
Thanks for the suggestions,

The names of the chemical elements are interesting. The discovery process as
well as the naming convention (if any) as well as the prerogative to name an
element make interesting reading.
In terms of names there are few clues. In English the halogens are
recognized by the -ine suffix, but this is not the case in Dutch:
English Dutch
F Fluorine Fluor
Cl Chlorine Chloor
Br Bromine Broom (Bromium no longer used)
I Iodine Jodium (or Jood)
At Astatine Astatium (or Astaat)

In American English, that's Sulfur.

In English, Bromine.
