Really? I had no idea... Sounds like I am totally wrong about simh never emulating a
KL.
Will it also emulate a DTE so you can marry it to one or more PDP-11 simhs? I know
there was some talk of doing that for the PDP-15/76.

He?s programmed an IMP emulation that gateways to an Ethernet. As I said, this way it
ONLY does IP. The gateway, since it is an Ethernet device does dynamically does ARP for
the IP traffic that is presented on what the host sees as a point-to-point link.
A later on project, which we?d like your involvement in, is an IMP connection talking
directly to the H316?s recently implemented host interface that Charles Anthony worked
out.
Given that the available H316 IMP software isn?t IP capable, that would be for talking
NCP.

I was talking to Lars Brinkoff about the same thing; he?s working on ITS.
As you know, we only have complete and working source for one version of the IMP
software, and that predates IP. It?d be nice to find some other versions of the IMP code;
if we do then they should work.
