Thanks! BTW, I've been doing some work on Wireshark to fix its DECnet decoding, there
are quite a bunch of errors in there.

Seems to work pretty well here, and has for the better part of thirty years, for me.

Would you know where I could get the source to it or its theory of operation?
I wonder too. The DEC standard answer would be an "NCP loop node foo" command,
which is an application protocol but a simple one (mirror, object 25).
The ping command that he illustrated is from IOS on a Cisco router.
