Thanks Mark! That would seem to be the perfect solution, lacking a
functional FP11-C board set. I was able to build and install it, but I
wasn't able to get it to actually work, so there may be a 4.6
compatibility issue. I'll be over there tomorrow (or today if I can get
there) to try again and take better notes. And then it's...sysgentime!
I was reading through that code and I'm not sure it will work that well
with M+. But if someone makes it work, that would be interesting to hear.
But even more so, when reading through that, I got a feeling that it
would be really nice to implement a full FPP emulation if the hardware
isn't there, and I think it could be done. Of course, it would be pretty
slow, but still much nicer than not being able to run programs that
depend on the FPP.
If anyone would be interested in working on this, I'd be happy to
provide some assistance, but I don't really have the time to dive into
this fully myself.
I was able to get a non-FP program (just a
"hello world") to run
using F77EIS, though, so that was a start.
