[HECnet] Is MIM running?

Tomas, Say, that is a very nice ping utility you have! Would you know where I could get the source to it or its theory of operation? Tommy Timesharing systems (TOMMYT, VENTI2, TERZO) are Tops-20 machines running on the KLH10 micro-engine. They have a number of monitor modifications plus a rewritten SETNODE utility to support long term updates of the volatile data base. "Long term" means updates in access of 39 weeks (6,636 hours). Updates are accomplished by a weekly batch job. The node database on MIM:: is checked for updates on a weekly basis. I check connectivity to MIM:: by attempting a directory of the appropriate files. If this works, then I proceed to NFT them.
