So I'm trying this:
SOLAR$ set file/enter="decnet.dir" sys$specific:[000000]decnet.dir
%SET-F-ENTERR, error entering SYS$SPECIFIC:[000000]DECNET.DIR;2 as "decnet.dir"
-RMS-F-FNM, error in file name
How do I make a link from SYS$SPECIFIC:[DECNET} to [.DECNET}?

I think that only works for files, not directories.
I KNOW i've made a link between directories on VMS, I just can't remember the command and there's nothing in HELP..
Or Google.

Basically, I have a bunch of files I want to share using both FAL and HTTP (Apache).
So let's say I have the source dir, DKA0:[FOOBAR]SOURCE.DIR and I want to make a link of that directory to APACHE$ROOT:[HTDOCS] so that APACHE$ROOT:[HTDOCS.SOURCE] and DKA0:[FOOBAR.SOURCE] are the same thing?

If APACHE$ROOT is a rooted logical with DKA0: as its disk device designation,
you can use a long standing VMS file system feature: SET FILE/ENTER. There's
also the symlink feature which you use via SET FILE/SYMLINK. $ HELP abounds
for both commands.
