My RSX/VF image is not for use in RSX.
It can be used to create real tape for RSTS using RSX-11M-PLUS VCP utility.
To connect to RSTS from RSX you need RRS utility.
In M+ V4.6 you can build it using [200,200]UNSGEN.CMD after installing DECnet:

Turns out it wasn't a broken install I just broke the FreeBSD scheduler somehow...
Progress! It can get to TOPS-20 (the connection drops for some reason upon completion), and OpenVMS/Alpha (without issue!). It cannot get to GEWT though. (they run on the same host, so I blame bpf oddities)

Could you detail exactly how you configured DECnet please?
I just installed DECnet using `@[0,1]INSTAL LAY' command and answered the qusetions.
After all I renamed DECNET$:NETUNS.TSK to NET.TSK to allow RSTS connect to RSX nodes.
Heheh... I had missed the last step when I installed Decnet/E... now I can SET HOST from RSTS/E to RSX _AND_ VMS systems (VAX only, I have not tried it with an alpha emulator).
