I don't know if the DECserver 200 allows you to hook up system consoles. I know that my 90L+ does not. :-( One problem I see is that you have to boot the DECserver 200 via MOP if I remember correctly before you can use it.

Maybe I should post a photo of what I have to do in order to connect a cable to MONK. :-) The weight means I have to have something under it to support it.
Though this morning it was that stupid VT420 that I'm currently using that was giving me fits. There is something not quite right about that particular terminal, and one of these days I'm going to have to dig up a better system console.

Guys,
Heads up again, RHESUS is coming back online as I write this, I'd set the sysboot flags to conversational, can't recall why but oh well. This led to me needing to connect to the console on RHESUS by serial cable, which didn't work from my laptop.

Just an FYI in case anyone noticed, PDXVAX and MONK were down for about a
half hour this morning as the electric company cut off power while they put
an electronic power meter in place. I think I got everything fully online
before I headed into work.

Anyway, the rest of my machines have come up except for RHESUS,
I need

Sounds like the kind of day I had yesterday. The deserver 90TL
through
which my entire vax/alpha/ia64 collection have their consoles routed
has
had an intermittent problem which I attributed to a dodgy power
cable.
Yesterday I bit the bullet and replaced the cable only to have an
epic
fail myself. Not even a power light. At least when I break
decservers
they have the courtesy of giving me a power light. Anyway, my spare
decserver exhibits random and totally undesirable behaviour, so my
collection is effectively offline for the most part until I find a
replacement.
Anyone got a 90TL or 90M going spare?
I've got two 90L+ s and a 90M. I *think* they're spare. To be
honest I'm
clearing out a lot of old computers (mostly but not all DEC) so if
anyone
wants them too I'll list them here ;-)

Hello!
**Elbows Sampsa.**
"What he said."
Same here.
Now now boys, no pushing :-)
Sorry, but Mark asked first about the servers. I just have to find some
packaging now.
Chrissie
Hello!
Then I'll accept any seconds.
What's left is:
HP 9000/C110 (4GB & 2GB disks internal) Linux/HPUX
DEC 3000/300 (2x 1GB disks, one internal, 1 external) DEC Unix/VMS
VAXstation 3100/95 (1gb disk external) VMS
Alpha pws433au (2 4GB disks) Linux/VMS
1 single speed caddy-loading CD reader - unknown marque
1 rrd42 single speed caddy-loading CD reader.
4 CD caddys
Lots of SCSI cables (including, I think, one of those funny-sized ones
that only DEC ever used) and a video cable for the 3000/300
Oh and there's a SPARCstation Ultra5 too ...
Chrissie
Oh god, my boiler is the same.
It used to crash every two or three weeks. And the plumber told me how to refill it and reset it. In the end it turned out to be a very slightly leaky radiator and it's been fine after that. I'm still supposed to check the pressure now and then though.
/me goes off to do it while she remembers.

As for the boiler repair, it was free - only had it installed a few
months back (behind my spare freezer, which isn't so great). Turns out
it just needed a top-up - this involved the guy fiddling with two dials.
Now the stupid thing cost me thousands AND has a computer already built
in, how freaking hard can it be to make the topping-up thing automatic.
