RPM should continue to work. If you are using DECnet as the transport,
you'll just be pointing at MIM so nothing changes.
If you are using TCP/IP, you'll probably referring to Mim.Update.UU.SE,
which now have been changed to a CNAME pointing at
, so
everything should continue to work fine.
However, in case there is some problem with the Update.UU.SE domain name
in the future, the solution would be to run RPM CONFIG and change the
source to be
, and then you should be even safer. :-)

ftp.update.uu.se will indeed also soon go away for now.
I'll see if I can make some of that stuff available elsewhere...

Hello!
Johnny does this mean that this FTP site
FTP.UPDATE.UU.SE will also be
shutdown soon? I recall retrieving from it very
important, well to me
it was, materials, including a pair of very early
Wilson PDP11 drop
ins. Or was it already shutdown?

There will be two alternatives:

HECnet-1-1023.Stupi.NET is a PyDECnet

As mentioned above, I aim for this to be a major hub
