Folks,
Nobody cares, but GATE18 has been down for a couple of weeks. I'm
having trouble with the virt box that hosts simh. We'll be back.

Just curious - what kind of trouble?
I run QCOCAL inside a Oracle VirtualBox, hence asking.

Care and care... I keep checking the status and health of HECnet all the
time, but I usually do not usually ping people because nodes are down.
HECnet is in a somewhat stable state at the moment. Around 19 areas
normally online, and about 10 nodes in area 1. I don't keep any closer
track of how it looks inside other areas.

When I had a similar issue, I ended up assigning one CPU to each VM with
the host taking care of distributing the load of the 5 VMs across
available CPUs.
Of course it may be a completely different issue here.
