Guys,
So me and a buddy have been thinking it?d be cool to get a MULTINET email gateway service
like LEGATO:: going again.
We?ve got plenty of hosting space for a VM and static IPs etc.
Any volunteers to build / manage this? I really don?t grok MULTINET all that well..

The next thing I'll be doing is a mail daemon for RSX that can talk both
MAIL11 and SMTP. So I guess I'm going to set something up sooner or
later. If anyone else want to do something, feel free. But I know that
I'm going to anyway, since I just can't resist doing stuff under RSX...

That would be awesome but like if we could set up something like LEGATO:: had we are happy
to host it.
We just don?t know how to BUILD it. I know it?s doable with MULTINET on VAX so if there
are any volunteers, we?ll roll them a VM with a static IP etc and whatever else is
necessary to support it.
Any volunteers?

I had it mocked up on FRUGAL:: at one point (and it worked on my network,
inside), however as I recall (memory is fuzzy) I could not complete the
setup as I would have had to have some extra services with my dyndns
provider that I currently do not - which meant more $. So I abandoned the
project.
If you have a static IP, a just-in-case host that I can use as a
relayhost, and control over DNS, I could do it. Give me SSH access to
something (I can send you my public key) along with the SYSTEM or other
privleged account password and I'll take a crack at it.

Contact me off-line. We can set something up tomorrow. I have several systems to
choose from with others coming on-line as early as tomorrow. It is amazing what you can
accomplish with an occasional day off. :-)
