BTW, I spoke too soon when I said they convert fine to PDF. About half do. The other
half produce blank pages. The reason appears to be that Distiller can't cope with
LaTeX output that uses bitmap fonts, which a number of those specs use.

order number for that document (which looked nothing like what I remembered). Google
found a few hits for that string.
One of the hits is an FTP server: ftp://avaloni.iks-jena.de/mitarb/lutz/standards/DEC/ --
which appears to have the whole set, in PostScript form. Adobe Acrobat Distiller readily
converts those to PDF.
