Actually they have a 2m too. Buying that instead (1m is too short).

No sorry - I'd ordered a card off ebay from a seller who then sent the wrong one (a
high voltage diff card - totally useless). I sent it back and he said 'we've got a
shipment coming in we may have one in there' and what I *should* have done then is not
be trusting and start a dispute to cover all bases. He then ran out the 30 days I had to
complain and won't now communicate.
It was only GBP 12.00 but that's not the point. He's techbay2000 so buyer beware.
He's 'techbay2010'.

AFAIK internal/external is the same - I'd keep the cable as short as you can
however...
