If you have a terminal attached to port 1, and have it set to ignore the modem signals,
and the correct speed (probably 1200 bps, but I might be wrong), it will print out some
informational messages during self test and as it tries to boot.
To actually have it boot you need a MOP server on the network, and the right image.
PR0801ENG.SYS, if I remember right...
If you are on HECnet, and the MOP protocol is enabled (for both sides), MIM will serve the
boot image for you.
