I wouldn't trust the output from "SHOW NETWORK". I've got a similar issue on my system where "SHOW NETWORK" gives me out of date information. What'd I'd suggest you look at is: NCP> show exec status or NCP> show exec char This will show you DECnet's currently configured address. The information from "SHOW NETWORK" is merely poked in at system-startup time and may not reflect subsequent configuration changes. --Marc
