they're different. I've put them up for you at the URL below. Please
let me know when you have them so I can remove them from the server.
I have good outbound bandwidth, but it's getting hit hard, so I
don't know what your transfer rates will be like.

You run IRC by typing IRC.
Also, the user interface is silly simple. It understands a few commands.
Join a channel:
:j <channel>
Send a message to a specific user/channel:
:m <destination> <message>
Set default channel:
:s <channel>
Change your nick:
:n <nick>
Quit:
:q
Everything else not starting with colon is sent to your default channel
as a message.
Anything starting with : is send as a command.
So, for example, to see who is on #hecnet, you'd give
":names #hecnet"

I just configured a logon called "hecirc" on PYFFLE:: that automatically
connects you to that channel via a text based UI..
Or else people can log in to MIM, and just run my IRC client there. :-)
(Or modify/improve it any what they see fit. It's written in BASIC+2...)

And just to make your life funnier/easier: the IRC client also looks for
some logical names:
IRC$NAME will be used for your nick.
IRC$HOST is the host to connect to.
IRC$COMMAND can contain a command to be executed at start.
You also have switches:
/NICK:
/HOST:
/NOCMD (if you do not want IRC$COMMAND to actually be used)
And you can ask if there are any other things you want to know.
