I was emulating a full cisco 7206VXR in dynamips/dynagen on my linux/ARM based NAS, doing DECnet GRE tunneling to Dave, *and* running KLH10. The only reason I moved them both to an Intel NUC was that neither emulator supports CPU idling on ARM, and I was worried about the CPU overheating since it was always pegged at 100%.
