It looks like I need some new connections to HECnet, as my existing ones are down. Is
there anyone in the US, especially the Pacific Northwest able to setup a Multinet
connection? One in Europe as well would be good.
Unfortunately I’m one of the people having trouble to Johnny.

My pyDecnet area router for area 29 is available. It is in Zwolle,NL and can handle
another connection.

You're supposed to have a connection to A2RTR, but I don't think it's worked
in a long time.

Well, that explains part of the problem, something tells me that in recent time, I was
only connecting through the one circuit that’s down now.
Would you please change that to 50.126.115.234, at some point in the last year (I think),
Ziply changed my static IP to a different subnet. This is still a static IP. I should
still be configured to talk to you.
The “good” news is that PDXVAX is now running in a container under SIMH, rather than on a
VAXstation 4000/60 that had to be powered down when it got too hot. Though it will likely
go down temporarily this weekend, as I need to move the system off my desk, and out to the
rack in the garage.

With Bob’s help today, I’m happy to say that Area 60 is back online, as is PDXVAX. I’ve
sent emails to the others that offered connections, as multiple circuits are typically a
good idea. So hopefully I’ll have a couple more links up this weekend.

Please stay tuned. I now have a new place where Mim will move to. Aim to
make that happen in a few days, and hopefully all will work fine after that.
I'll post all the details tomorrow. I expect Mim to be down for a few
hours during the move, and of course anyone with connections to Mim or
hecnet-1-1023 will need to update their configurations after that. But
the current hecnet-1-1023 will stay around, and I'll just add another
connection point to cover people who might have issues with the current
connections.
More details to follow...

Hmm.. I don't have a connection to MIM, but I do have a connection to 1.1023 (ANKE)
and that's working fine. And I can talk to MIM now via HEcnet.

ANKE:: (hecnet-1-1023) is not going away. If people have working
connections there, it will continue to work. No changes required. I'm
just going to setup another PyDECnet router so that people who currently
can't connect to ANKE:: do get an alternative to "me".
