Yeah, when I woke up this morning (still Dec 31st) the news had video of the New Years
celebration in Auckland... They have basically zero Covid cases in NZ so they're
celebrating as usual.
Here everybody is staying home. No fireworks. No parties.
Now 8 hours and counting of 2020 still left to go...

There were supposed to be no fireworks and parties here but some found their way around
that of course. No big troubles in any case, we are still in lockdown until Jan. 19th.
