Companies other than HP made Itanium2 machines, you know. ;) It's an Intel SR870BN4, which I believe is the reference platform for the Itanium2. A good friend (a fairly hardcore VMS admin) told me rather explicitly that VMS will not run on it. That said, I've never tried. Should I try? Do you have any tricks? Or can you assist otherwise?
