  And if the Lantronix use different commands, I hope
you can figure out
 what the equivalent commands would be.
   They are substantially similar to the DECserver firmware.
  And also, if connected (as in RSX shows the port as
connected), the
 output from DEV TTn: on RSX, where TTn: is whatever terminal is
 indicated as connected.
   LCP shows it as connected, as TT2: "dev tt2:" says:
TT2:	Not logged in
	CLI   = MCR	BUF   = 80.	HFILL = 0
	LINES = 24.	TERM  = unknown	OWNER = none
	NOPRINTER_PORT	NOPASTHRU	NOSERIAL

	NOCTRLC	NOAVO	NOANSI	NODEC	NOEDIT	NOREGIS	NOSOFT	NOBLKMOD
	HSYNC	BRO	NOABAUD	TTSYNC
  You could also try a BRO TTn: FOOBAR, to see if output
to the port works.
   This waits awhile and says "BRO -- Message failed to reach TT2:"
