Hi Paul, I'm going to switch over A29RT1 and 2 to using 1.1.628 shortly. I'll probably update the circuit configurations to use the less confusing parameter names too. I requested a directory of PYTHON:: and I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing unix-style path and filenames coming back, though Ultrix and OSF/1 users probably became used to it eventually. Thanks for doing all of this work. It's really great to be able to run an extremely inspect'able DECnet router like this and learn from it. It's currently running on a HECnet backbone router (PYTHON) and on the HECnet map server (28NH). This beta update adds DAP support and "login" type objects (such as FAL). The first beta has significant performance improvements over V1.0, and a new and expanded API. You can look at CHANGES.txt in the source tree for more detail. It seems to be stable; the first beta has been running for a while now with no obvious problems. I'd like to hear if anyone currently running PyDECnet is interested in trying out this beta.
