Nah I'm cool with those - just as long as they
work ;)
They do.
And just to make your life funnier/easier: the IRC client also looks for
some logical names:
IRC$NAME will be used for your nick.
IRC$HOST is the host to connect to.
IRC$COMMAND can contain a command to be executed at start.
You also have switches:
/NICK:
/HOST:
/NOCMD (if you do not want IRC$COMMAND to actually be used)
And you can ask if there are any other things you want to know.

Or else people can log in to MIM, and just run my IRC client there. :-)
(Or modify/improve it any what they see fit. It's written in BASIC+2...)

Re: MIM IRC: No commands seem to work, /JOIN, /HELP etc..
So I can't actually use it..
That is because I haven't gone with that set of commands... Feel free to write a
variant that do. :-)
