Well, if you're a software guy...go try and find a local retro TV/radio guy.
They'll likely have the right skills and equipment to attempt to rejuvenate it.
You'd be messing with voltage in the kilovolt range here...so I don't recommend
doing it yourself.
Good suggestion - I'll look into it next time I'm in Finland. Worst case scenario
where I'd have no screen I'd still have serial LK-style keyboard, and those are
supported by a weird Linux module.
Wire that up to RaspPi with a hub of USB->RS232 adapters that boots a good Linux based
terminal emulator.
