There is an xdm directory: sys$specific:[tcpip$xdm]
It ought to have a couple of .TXT files in it. These are installed with the filetype
.TEMPLATE. Rename them to .TXT. Either access.txt or server.txt must be modified to allow
xdm servers to connect. Just look into each of them and near the bottom of the file
you'll find a comment to that effect.

Which reminds me - anyone have any tips on how to get remote XDM going on OpenVMS VAX 7.3?
I can't find the setup files.
Basically, I want to point an XDM client on the laptop at the XDM server on the SIMH
machine and get a graphical session that way.
