I didn't know you had an IRC client on MIM!
Heh...
How do I run it? Is there a guest account?
GUEST/GUEST
You run IRC by typing IRC.
Also, the user interface is silly simple. It understands a few commands.
Join a channel:
:j <channel>
Send a message to a specific user/channel:
:m <destination> <message>
Set default channel:
:s <channel>
Change your nick:
:n <nick>
Quit:
:q
Everything else not starting with colon is sent to your default channel
as a message.
Anything starting with : is send as a command.
So, for example, to see who is on #hecnet, you'd give
":names #hecnet"
Code is at MIM::DU:[IRC]IRC.B2S

As you guys know, there's a #hecnet channel
on
irc.freenode.net.
I just configured a logon called "hecirc" on PYFFLE:: that automatically
connects you to that channel via a text based UI..
Or else people can log in to MIM, and just run my IRC client there. :-)
(Or modify/improve it any what they see fit. It's written in BASIC+2...)
