If I did, then I would use full COMND% parsing to get recognition on the line types, DMR,
NI, CI, KMC, Etc. That might be a fantasy as I would imagine these were never
standardized.
Perhaps the simplest fix would be to allow ASCII string format line names. The current
code only accepts the compact binary format, and then only a few device names of the list
(DMC, DUP, DTE, and KDP).
