Yes, that was my first suggestion. But we live in an extremely lazy

Having said that, a copy/paste into your PUTTY window

?? That will only work if you either do it in very small chunks, pace it
within the terminal program, or increase the buffer sizes. Back in the day, the license was on a piece of paper,
and typing was the
only option.
Man I've done a whole bunch of those! That was one thing that was
hard to get used to in the 4.7->5.0 transition.
