That's not realistic and doesn't scale well.
The biggest problem with it is scaling, and that I have not implemented
anything like STP.
Apart from that, it usually works very well, covering about half of the

GRE is a non-starter unless you have a Cisco
router.
If you don't like Multinet, write something better. Make sure it works on
a VAX...
Which is a big problem. Most people do not even have the information
needed to write something that would hook into DECnet this way.
