Actually I just wrote like 10 lines of Python to check if the address has changed, if so,
-HUP the bridge process.

Yes.
Because then I?ll just have a loop do that.
That works. However, you might get an interruption of service whenever you send it a HUP,
so it might not be advisable to do that all the time...
