It's not a TOPS-10 issue; it's a KS10/2020 limitation because Ethernet is not
supported on that machine. The KDP is actually a combination of one KDP and one or more
DUPs. Each DUP is a single synchronous line interface and you can have up to four. They
can be used for either DECnet or ANF10. I believe that officially DECnet only supported
one DUP line, but in practice you could have more.
Ok, so what about some other DECnet connectivity to a KS10? Maybe a
KMC11 or similar, talking to a serial interface on a Cisco?
