  And you can't even disclose the name of your employer?  I did contract work for
Vulcan (Paul Allen's company before he died) and their contract was similar.  I did
however manage to negotiate that with them, including the ability to name my employer. 
It's kind of ridiculous that you can't - how else would you put this job on your
resume or CV?  The lawyers were not exactly cooperative, but they weren't totally
unreasonable either and they did make a few compromises.
  Unfortunately this is the way things are going, at least in the USA.  Recently I was
meeting a friend at Google for lunch.  We weren't going to eat there and I wasn’t
going past the lobby, but I asked the receptionist if I could use the restroom while I
waited.  I had to read a 10 page NDA, which was presented on a little touch screen PDA,
sign, show ID, and get a visitor badge before I was allowed to use the restroom.  And the
restroom was right there, next to the lobby!   Sigh...  I think it's time to
retire...
