It's sometimes very slow over DECnet, and some connections are worse than others -
I'm working on it and hope to soon find a solution.
I think the issue of your quote and apostrophe key may be the Apple "Smart
Quotes" feature where " is actually ? or ? and ' is actually ?, which is
going to confuse things.
For iOS I use recommend using Blink (blinksh) - it works with both SSH and mosh ? however,
it has it's own bugs, including a common one which is derived from bugs that exist in
both the libssh and libssh2 example code that breaks connecting to servers that use SSH2
"none" authentication. You can work around that by using ssh or mosh to dps8m at
m.trnsz.com with password or keyboard interactive authentication using the password
"dps8m" rather than dps8 at
m.trnsz.com with no SSH authentication, or avoid it
totally by using TELNET on port 52815.
I know that Prompt and Reflection work correctly, including SSH2 none auth on iOS, but I
have no way to test any Mac applications.
