If so, a good answer would be to get a better grade of browser. FWIW, both Safari and
Chrome on my late model Mac laptop accept http links without complaints. They both
annotate it as "not secure" in a small warning label at the top of the screen --
which of course is accurate. But they don't try to circumvent what they were told and
they don't put up roadblocks.
