Hmm. One more thing then.
LCP SHO PORT when you are connected?
But yeah, all looks good here. Might need to go and dissect LAT packets
on the ethernet. Gah! I hate that. It's quite a chore...

  Dave. Apart from packet dumps, could you get the

 Here is one port where this happens, but it happens from all that we've
 tried, including telnetting into the Lantronix and connecting from there.

  And if the Lantronix use different commands, I
hope you can figure out
 what the equivalent commands would be.

    They are substantially similar to the DECserver firmware.

  And also, if connected (as in RSX shows the port
as connected), the
 output from DEV TTn: on RSX, where TTn: is whatever terminal is
 indicated as connected.

    LCP shows it as connected, as TT2:  "dev tt2:" says:

 TT2:    Not logged in
      CLI   = MCR    BUF   = 80.    HFILL = 0
      LINES = 24.    TERM  =unknown    OWNER = none

  You could also try a BRO TTn: FOOBAR, to see if
output to the port works.

    This waits awhile and says "BRO -- Message failed to reach TT2:"
