I just tried an snmpwalk looking for anything slightly DEC-related and I can't find any data that looks like decnet addresses or anything. SNMP would also require public IP connectivity, which isn't strictly required for decnet to work. For example, my Cisco is using a 192.168 address, and I forward GRE packets (for the tunnels) from my firewall. Ian
