One thing I have found useful in stopping spam is using Google Apps as
my front-line mail exchanger.
I use PMAS from Process Software (the same guys who make Multinet). They
have a hobbyist license program and PMAS actually works pretty well at
weeding out the SPAM, but it has become something of a CPU hog in recent
releases.
