That s a strange error message, perhaps there s version mismatch?
I run UNZIP 5.42, built on AlphaVMS V1.5 on 14 January 2001. I realise that is quite old
but then again I haven t had any problems with it.
To check things, I did this:
- unzipped the first file (porting tools 1 of 2), no errors - renamed
that file and ran differences between the orginal .dd file and the new one: no differences
were found.
The command used: UNZIP -V <filename>.ZIP

I just tried the first one, on both OS X and VMS, and it said no zip file directory was
found..

On what system did you unzip them and what error message did you get?

Hans,
Any chance you can bring that FTP server up again?
Also, I tried unzipping the first file, and it seemed to be corrupted...

It is time for me to get some sleep, so the systems in area 44 are being shut down.
If there are people interested to finish their ftp sessions, please let me know and I ll
start the systems tomorrow again. It is too noisy in the house (and too expensive) to
keep them running.
